The Georgia Republican leadership continues to lose credibility ...Although the Georgia Republican Party is still in denial, the truth continues to come out piece by piece. When the whole story is told, Samuel Francis is going to look like a genius and the workers in the Georgia Republican party will be the real losers. Thousands of dedicated Republican workers spent years being a minor party in Georgia, but working year after year to make slow but steady gains. Suddenly under the misguided direction of former governor Roy Barnes they were handed their dream on a platter. In just one election, they went from being a second rate party to the party in power. The 2004 elections were a watershed, the unbeatable got beat, the unelectable got elected and the Republican Party leaped ahead by years. click here for entire article & GPU |

The people that do not exist get more signs that do not exist! Recently the Atlanta Journal Constitution, also known as the unofficial spokesman for the politically correct did it again. They once again let their politically correct agenda confuse their grey matter challenged upper extremities and predict the demise of the People of Georgia:
Imagine that! The Atlanta Journal Constitution printing a letter from the Sons of Confederate Veterans. But of course it is a special handpicked letter. In fact one that just happened to: click here for more |

Governor Riley - Reappoint Judge Moore! As we have watched the situation in Alabama unfold, there are many conclusions that are obvious.
Today we ran across an online petition that we strongly support. A petition to urge Alabama Republican Governor Riley to re-appoint Judge Moore. It is certainly within his power to do so! Lets see if he just talks or is willing to stand up for Judge Moore. click here for more |

THE FIRST REAL THANKSGIVING, Commentary by David Anderson The Berkeley Plantation in Charles City, Virginia is the site of the first Thanksgiving. And according to former Presidents, Berkeley is home to the country's first real Thanksgiving. Everyone has been taught since elementary school that Thanksgiving originated with the Pilgrims in Plymouth, Massachusetts, you know, that state that’s way above the Mason-Dixon line. Well not quite. The circumstances surrounding the holiday have been misinterpreted just enough to misshape the country's perception and history of the first Thanksgiving and its traditions. click here for more information |

The letters and copies of the petitions are being sent to the Board of Directors. The first ones have arrived and the others are coming. Senator Tom TurnCoat Price flaggedA very large percentage of Americans have so little regard for "politicans" that they do not even bother to vote anymore. I am sure that everybody knows someone (many just have to look in a mirror) that have just given up on the political process! Well when you look at Senator Tom TurnCoat Price one can understand why so many people believe that all politicians are selfish, arrogant and corrupt. Countless thousands of Georgians were counting on Senator Price this year, and his story is an ugly one. click here for more |

Howard Dean flagged at Dartmouth ... For several decades California, the so-called "land of fruits and nuts" was always described by the media as the trend setter for the nation. Of course the media only considered and reported on "politically correct" issues. Things that Americans would never vote for: wide open borders resulting in massive economic collapse; large handouts to freeloaders resulting in a large increase in their population; open acceptance of homosexuals as being beneficial to society resulting in an AIDs epidemic. Yep, the media and politically correct reported continuously about how California was leading the country in all of their little pet agenda items. click here for more |

Report of Gephardt Flagging ... On Saturday November 8th Dick Gephardt was flagged at the Lebanon, Missouri civic center. This was a joint effort made between the Missouri Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Missouri League of the South. This was supposed to be a really big deal in Lebanon since no presidential candidate had visited since Truman. But if Gephardt thought it was a big deal the people of Lebanon must have felt differently. click here for entire flagging report |

Special Election - House District 8 - Election Results The Special Election results are listed below. There will be a run off election on November 25 between Kurt Cannon and Charles Jenkins. Since this is a special election, it is non-partisan so candidates do not qualify by Party. Our recommended candidate, Kurt Cannon received 39% of the votes cast compared to 33% for the second place candidate Charles Jenkins. Kurt Cannon has responded to our poll on issues, both by phone and in person after returning phone call. Charles Jenkins has not returned either of two phone calls. |

Giving Credit where credit is due ... As we go about our daily lives one thing that most people have in common is always being behind in things that we should do. And this brief pause on our web site is to do something that we should have done quite some time ago. That is give some credit where it is due ... Our goal is to work towards a grass roots effort that is focused on restoring the Principles upon which Our Country was founded. We operate on very limited funds and with all volunteer effort. We would like to take a few minutes and give some credit to Aw Shucks, which is the leading referrer of traffic to our web site. click here for more |

HERITAGE ATTACK!!!! Presidential Candidate
John Edwards Attacks the Confederate Flag http://www.johnedwards2004.com/page.asp?id=326 Quoting the Democrat Party presidential candidate and former trial lawyer, (I don't know of a more disgusting job combination) "the Confederate flag means to us in terms of oppression and too often violence. If we embrace those who display the flag for the purpose of heralding that oppression, because we think they share some economic common ground with us, we then fail to share the moral common ground with the Southern Democrats, white and African-American, who have been the core of the Southern Democratic Party." click here for action to take |

Senator Ginger "TurnCoat" Collins wins Cry Baby Award ... The past few months of watching the Georgia Republican Party has given us a much better understanding of the "new" Republican Big Tent approach. This must be a real heart breaker for the majority of Georgia Republicans who have worked so hard for so long to establish the Georgia Republican Party. A few "bad" peaches are throwing away all of their hard work! At this point some of these "Big Tent" Republicans reading this are probably laughing and saying look at what the dumb redneck wrote this time. Its a few bad apples that will ruin the whole peck, not peaches! click here for flagging report and rest of Cry Baby Award announcment. |

Former governor Roy Barnes discusses Flag with AJC ... The Georgia Heritage Council has just posted an interesting AJC article by Colin Powell who interviewed former governor Roy Barnes at his new office in Marietta. It was very refreshing to see the AJC publish the fact Our Flag is not about race. Hope that Sonny Perdue read the article, since he seems to have forgotten that fact. It was also interesting to see the comments about last year's election and the correlation with other Southern governors who have forced political correctness on the people of their States. Hope that you enjoy the article. click here for more |

Southern Heritage PAC announces Flagger's Deck of Cards, the Deck of Shame ... Recently one of my fellow Georgians and I were discussing the level of corruption in the Georgia Legislature. How some of these officials elected by their constituents even advertise their influence for sale on their law firm web sites and how the Atlanta Chamber openly brags about their success in influencing both the new governor and the Legislature. This Georgian's reply was, "Well this is just the usual sausage of politics." click here for entire article and Deck of Shame preview |

"FLAGGERS" CATCH SEN.
JOHNSON IN WAYCROSS
Sunlight filters through the trees of
Confederate Park across the street from the REA building Friday, making
for a picturesque Southern scene. Relentless in their campaign to hound
from office everyone who is working against the restoration of the St.
Andrews Cross to the Ga state flag, a group of southeast Georgians,
including many Sons of Confederate Veterans from Ware and Brantley
Counties, targeted Sen Eric Johnson in Waycross Friday. They set up about
75 flags in the park (also known as Phoenix Park, but originally called
Confederate Park when it was founded.) Sen Johnson of Savannah and
District 1 (serving Chatham and Bryan counties) and others were attending
a political dinner in Waycross Friday. "He was definately our main
target," said Jay Lawhorne, prominent member of the new SCV camp in
Brantley County. "If we had been on our toes and aware of the fact that Lt
Governor Mark Taylor was in Homerville at the same hour, we would have
sent some of us over there." Lawhorne estimated that there were 25 to 30
flaggers at Confederate Park in Waycross. The biggest target of all,
members of the group would say, is Gov. Sonny Perdue. They blame him for
signing the bill that keeps the St. Andrews Cross off of the state flag.
"We elected him and we will remove him from office," said one flagger.

Libertarians and the Confederate Battle Flag As we have stated many times, the politically correct attempt to eradicate Southern Heritage has very deep implications for our country. It is not an issue limited to the display of Southern symbols, it is a deliberate effort by the politically correct to discredit the very principles upon which our country was founded. Of course the politically correct want to eliminate discussion of what style of government was proposed by Our Founding Fathers. After all, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, George Washington, James Madison, Col. Mason (and the list goes on and on) were all Southern men. click here for entire article |
