Information about Georgia Flag Referendum

Georgia Flag Referendum close to being a reality ...

After a marathon session Tuesday day and evening, the House passed HB 380, the Georgia Flag Referendum, as amended by the Rules Committee. The vote was 111 - 67, so the bill passed with just over 62% of the vote. It was not even close. In fact it was very close to the 67% needed to place a Constitutional Amendment on the ballot for ratification. 

We will publish the entire bill  in our next statement, but for now will list a summary of the Georgia Flag Referendum bill as passed by the House:

1) A temporary flag will immediately replace the Barnes rag. This was added after extreme pressure was applied by the anti-Southern cartel, politically correct legislators, liberal media and the Atlanta corporations. The anti-Southern cartel is willing to waste several hundred thousand dollars of tax payer money in the hopes that the temporary flag will confuse people.

2) On the March, 2004 Presidential Primary, there will be a referendum question on the ballot to discard this temporary flag and let the people vote on Our TRUE State Flag.

3) On the July, 2004 general election Primary there will be a referendum question to select either the pre-56 or Our TRUE State Flag (1956 Flag) as the permanent Georgia State Flag.

This bill now goes to the Senate where passage should be relatively easy  compared to the House. But you should contact your State Senator and tell them that despite the pressure of the politically correct politicians, liberal media and large Atlanta corporations, you still want to vote on Your TRUE State Flag.

Overall we should commend 110 of the House members who defended the people of Georgia against the pressure of the anti-Southern cartel. One of the 111 who voted for the bill, actually worked against your right to vote and will be covered in a later article.

This success, in getting the People of Georgia the right to vote is a continuing benefit of the results of the election last year. While the two year reign of the Barnes rag has been an insult to the majority of Georgians, it has produced a dramatic improvement in the quality of the State government in Georgia. The Barnes rag was the direct product of political correctness run a mock, of unethical corporate influence and just plain arrogance on the part of elected officials. 

In addition, even Southerners have the same right to be Proud of Our Heritage as any other heritage in this country. In the hour after hour of speeches in the House by the losers, not once did they recognize that even Southerners have the right to Honor our ancestors who answered the call to duty. In the hour after hour of speeches by the losers did they ever recognize that Southerners were instrumental in creating American Liberty; Jefferson, Washington, Henry, Madison, Mason, and the list goes on and on! No wonder the losers in the House vote do not recognize letting people vote is American as apple pie. No wonder the losers can not recognize that Our TRUE State Flag was created to honor our Georgia Veteran ancestors. People that will slander deceased veterans the way these 67did for hours do not deserve to be in public office.

Despite the best effort of the politically correct, you the people of Georgia will get to vote, congratulations to all who have helped.

In just over a year, the Honor and Memory of Our Ancestors can be vindicated. Our Veterans Flag can once again proudly fly over Georgia.

It is very appropriate that this Georgia Flag Referendum bill is being passed in April, which is Confederate History Month.

The St. Andrews Cross has been used to honor our Veterans since 1866 and always will be. The politically correct can spread myths and misrepresentations, but they can never change the purpose and meaning of the St. Andrews Cross and its Christian and Scottish origins.
