Two Votes in the Senate tell the tale ... For just over six hours politically correct propaganda echoed off the Senate walls. Senator after Senator stood up and complained that the Senate was spending so much time, but insisted on their right to waste their share. Senator after Senator stood up in the well of the Senate and expressed their conviction that only they know what is best for the People of Georgia, and that the People of Georgia must be ignored at all costs. Then came the votes and these votes tell the tale ... As background, the House Rules Committee chaired by WALL OF SHAME Representative Smyre held the Governor's Flag Referendum bill until virtually the last minute and then used the "compromise" offered by a Republican to report out a compromise flag referendum in the hopes that being flawed it would fail somewhere. The House overwhelmingly passed the modified flag referendum. Now it gets interesting. No that is the wrong term, disgusting is more appropriate. The anti-Southern cartel (politically correct politicians, media and large corporations) knew that if they could get an amendment in the Senate they would have another chance to defraud the People of Georgia. The Referendum passed the House at 11:37 and at 11:49 Senator Price filed a Notice of Intent to Engross the bill. Engrossing a bill means that the Senate could either vote for or against, but could not modify it. But at this point something happened, the public record shows that the actual Motion to Engross was not made, so the bill was left open to change. After the hours of politically correct propaganda, the Senate voted and 15 Amendments were offered as result of the bill not being engrossed. Two votes are key. Amendment # 1, the very first amendment was passed thus forcing the bill back to the House. The second vote to look at is Amendment #15. This amendment would have removed the second referendum, which is the whole point in this whole process. Take a look at the State Senators who voted directly to prohibit the People of Georgia from voting on the Flag stolen in 2001. Is this why the bill was not engrossed, Senator price voted three times to deny a vote on Our Stolen Flag? The results of these two votes are now for consideration in next years elections. The issue for now turns back to the House. Here are the words of Speaker Terry Coleman as reported in the ajc:
There you go folks, wheeling, dealing, collusion and a tremendous waste of your taxpayers dollars. Just to prevent the People of Georgia from voting on the Flag that was stolen in another frenzy of wheeling, dealing and collusion in 2001. The contact information for Speaker Coleman is: Capitol Office: (404) 656-5020 For those who would like to ask Senator Price why he did not follow through on Engrossing HB 380 and why he voted to deny the People of Georgia a vote, his contact information is: Capitol Phone: (404) 656-0040 More information coming. Do not be fooled by Senators who will say they voted for the Referendum, but then voted for either Amendment 1 or 15. This is hypocrisy. Any Senator who voted for an amendment, especially Amendment 15 was voting to deny YOU the right to vote on Our State Flag so that the politically correct can continue their elimination of Southern Heritage!
