But This Time Let’s Fight Smart!

So you want to beat Perdue & his big business, anti-south, corporate friends & conspirators, (I mean contributors)?  Then aim your 56 Flag Referendum campaign at their pocketbooks & political campaigns as money & reelection are the only things these people really care about.

Raise Real Hell With Atlanta’s “Sell-Out” Corporations

We can send a message to some of the Atlanta corporations by avoiding their products. Yes these are large multi-national corporations, but they have aggressive growth  plans and even a small dip in their sales send them into a tizzy. Coke is the most vulnerable. Consider joining the Boycott Scalla-Cola effort. But if you really want to send a message do the following!

Do Buy One Share of Stock in Each Offending Company

Now if you really want to get noticed, get their attention and hit them where it hurts, become a stockholder of the company.  This also means that you will receive annual reports, and all other Shareholder benefits from the company purchased. These benefits may also include dividends (if declared), as well as any other company perks.

The important company perk you might be interested in is attending stockholder meetings and questioning the management repeatedly about their anti-Southern bias, their political actions, contributions and generally making our voice heard. You have just as much right to attend, question top management or the government regulators over their practices as someone who owns $100 million dollars worth of stock in the company. I think you see just the beginning of the fun you can have, the public embarrassment you can cause and the obstruction possible by becoming a shareholder of the company. 

Yes, most voting is predetermined by proxy and you won’t be able to win in voting procedures but as Southern activists become as skilled in the boardroom as we have become on the streets and the internet, then big business will start to listen to our concerns and point of view. The alternative is millions of dollars lost in time, questioning at stockholder meetings, etc. if you get my drift. Remember, these people care about nothing but their wealth, stock portfolios and bottom-line profits.

The Flagging Against the Governor and Other Members of the Legislature Has Been Effective From a Public Relations Standpoint But Again Increase the Flagging – This Time At Their Businesses

Most of the members of the Georgia Legislature certainly aren’t there to pass laws or engage in the practice of democratic “good representative government” that we all learned about back in high school civics class 101. If they were, then they wouldn’t have stolen our chance for a referendum vote on the flag desired by a majority of the voters of Georgia.

They are there to make contacts, sell favors and generally steal what they can off the table. Although many of the representatives are little more than ambulance chasing lawyers with an interest in politics, others are also small business owners.  Consider  flagging them at their business or office locations so local people will get the message about where they stand on the real Georgia Flag.  Again, protests may even cause clients and potential clients to go elsewhere for business and this will get their attention in a hurry.

The GOP Caved In On This Because They Did Not Want the Bush Re-Election Presidential Primary Campaign “Embarrassed” By A Referendum on Our Flag At the Same Time As the Primary. 

The message from the GOP national leadership down to the state GOP leaders was kill the referendum vote on the 56 Flag.  We should get two qualified individuals to run in both the Democrat and Republican Presidential Primaries in Georgia on a platform that includes demanding a vote on the 56 Flag.  This will generate more votes and publicity for our 56 Flag and more controversy for the sellout politicians of both parties to deal with than the flag referendum ever would have done. Of course, the presidential primary candidates in Georgia do not have to be residents of Georgia.

In summary, it is time to take off the gloves, end the cowardly compromising with these people and start playing “hard ball”.  They don’t keep their word or campaign promises, care nothing about honor or integrity and are only interested in money, looking good to the PC crowd  and winning re-election.

Well, Atlanta big business, Perdue and “sellout” GOP members of the legislature, welcome to the new world of Southern  politics.  We will see you in your corporate boardrooms, in your stuffy, elitist, shareholder meetings, at your country clubs, places of business, at political events and in the Democrat and Republican Presidential Primaries.  We will not forget your broken campaign promises for an open, democratic state referendum to choose the State Flag preferred by a majority of the voters of Georgia.  It was a fight you wanted and it will be a fight you will get! Let the battle begin.
