The Sovereign and Triune God blessed the sons and
daughters of Dixie who gathered to celebrate their
Confederate Heritage with plenty of sunshine and
temperatures in the upper 60's. My husband Harry counted
89 people at the beginning of the meeting, with people
still coming. And this without Company K (26th Georgia
Infantry) Reenactment Group.
Michael Tubbs, first vice chairman for the Northeast
Florida League of the South and adjutant for the Lt.
Edward Johnston Camp (#745) of the Sons of Confederate
Veterans opened the meeting with prayer after Bobby
Mountain of Ellijay led us in our National Anthem "Dixie"
.
Then Henry Klinger (League of the South, Wayne County
Chapter) and Sam Lyons (Commander of Capt. James Knox Camp
# 2022) gave a short speech describing each of their
organisations.
Dewey Barber was the first main speaker addressing
Christian Southern History and the attacks on our
Christian Southern Heritage.

John Weaver (Pastor of Freedom Baptist and Dominion
Ministry and Chief Chaplain of the Sons of Confederate
Veterans) followed with his message "The Destruction
of A Christian Republic"
to the sons and daughters of Dixie that had gathered for
this event.
Then Henry Klingler (West Point Graduate of 1965, Vietnam
War Veteran) delievered his speech "Yankee Go Home".

After closing in prayer led by Michael Tubbs and once
again singing our National
Anthem "Dixie" the meeting was then reconvened to Captain
Joe's Seafood Restaurant for a mid afternoon dinner. There
John Cripps from FREESOUTH.org delivered his message of
great importance to the present Southern Movement
addressing "True Leadership".
While Bobby Mountain with his guitar and others performed
some great Southern music.

Lastly, I want to take this time and thank all of
speakers, Michael Tubbs, and the musicians for
volunteering their time to the Cause. Also, many thanks to
Roy Crapse, who volunteered his time and recorded this
event. Special thanks goes to Sam Lyons and camp #2022 who
cosponsored this event.
This event was a wonderful success. As Providence grants
we are looking forward to next November to have another
Confederate Heritage Celebration at the H.J. Westberry
Park.
