Terry Coleman (D-118) appointed David Lucas chairman of the Public Utilities
and Telecommunications committee. Representative David Lucas is notorious
for filibustering the last 15 minutes of the last day of the session two
years ago to keep the House from passing a bill protecting the equal rights
of Boy Scouts.
