Bell South Flagged

All went relatively well today as a group of concerned Southerners demonstrated outside the BellSouth office in Waycross. The employees and management appeared very sympathetic and gave us no trouble, many coming over to chat with us.

The police did come and "let us know" that we had to remove the flags that were stuck in the dirt beside the sidewalk but we could carry all we wanted. Also made us aware that we needed a permit for more than 10 people.

And and and, we got our license plate numbers taken AGAIN. :-)

Response from the public was again very positive except for the occasional drive by "tolerant" folks who showed us their IQ.

Several stopped and asked "what was up" including Southerners of the black persuasion. Some just shook there head at the silliness of BellSouth.

One black dude wanted to know if BellSouth was for "our flag". He appeared to be the intolerant type so Mrs. Jones told him that BellSouth was behind us 100%. :-)

This is the second demonstration that I'm aware of against "corporate scallawag policies" in our fair state. The first was at the Coca-Cola main office in Hellanta.

Rumor is that the Home Depot near here will soon get a dose of reality. WE WILL NOT SALE OUR HERITAGE!!
