The Southern Party of Georgia, a grass roots effort to restore good government for the People of Georgia, recommends the following candidates for the Republican Primary, July 20. This is a very early edition and will be kept current as events develop.

Low voter turnout: an analysis

Based upon some general historical projections the expected turnout should be approximately 22 percent.  Your VOTE will be important! To find your poll location and your new district numbers click here. Voter Registration Deadline is June 21.

If the voter turnout projection is close to the mark, 9% of the registered voters can win this primary. 4% can probably swing the election in our favor. Note that the historical projection of 22% includes voters in both the Democratic and Republican Primary.

So your vote, and every vote that you can get to the polls is very important!

Congressional Offices

District 6: map There are 7 candidates in this race. We recommend that two be retired from public service, three that are acceptable and recommend that you check their campaigns and two which we neither would recommend either way.

The Primary will be the election for this District, there is no Democratic or independent opposition in November.

Al Beverly Claims to be conservative and boats of helping TurnCoat Gringrey win his Congressional seat, two years before Gringrey was elected. No recommendation and suggest you look at other candidates

Chris Chatwood  Has strong position on immigration and reduction of government waste and we recommend checking this campaign. Click here for campaign web site.

State Representative Roger Hines Very good voting record in Georgia House and we recommend checking out this campaign. Click here for campaign web-site

Kevin Johns Claims to be a conservative Republican but proposes solutions that tend to be more federal government. No mention of problems of immigration or run away federal spending. No recommendation and suggest you look at other candidates

State Senator Robert Lamutt Very good voting record in Georgia Senate and we recommend checking out this campaign. Click here for campaign web site

State Senator Tom TurnCoat Price Turncoat who has failed to represent the people of Georgia. Instead sided with the large corporations, Black Caucus and the likes of Mary Squires. Used his leadership position in the GOP controlled Senate to deny the people of Georgia the right to vote on our State Flag. Pushed the tobacco tax increase. Needs to be retired from public office.

State Senator Chuck TurnCoat Clay Turncoat who has failed to represent the people of Georgia. Instead sided with the large corporations and politically correct. His law firm advertises "political influence" for sale.  Pushed the tobacco tax increase. In the GOP controlled Senate voted to deny the people of Georgia the right to vote on our State Flag. Needs to be retired from public office.
