Information about Georgia State Flag 

The secret meeting to bow to corporate influence had just ended and the stage was set. The "leadership" of both the Republican and Democrat parties had done their usual pandering to special interests and the test was coming. Would the brokered deal pass and once again let special interests run our State.

The test was on HB-380 and it failed, two votes short. Special interests for a few minutes had lost.

But our new Speaker of The House, jumped into action. A motion to reconsider was placed on the floor, this passed. Once again the vote tally began and this time it was one vote short.

At this point in time, Terry Coleman had to make a choice. He could let the amendment fail, or bow to special interests and cast his vote to pass it. A quick look at the signs in the picture above should answer any questions about his decision.

Terry Coleman, given the opportunity to represent all of the people of Georgia as our Speaker of the House failed and pandered to special interests.

This was not the only issue where he abandoned the people of Georgia to cater to special interests. On another bill, one to end discrimination against pregnant women he also failed to support the people of Georgia. In Georgia there is only one elective surgical procedure that does not require full disclosure of known medical risks and alternatives. SB-23 titled the Women's Right To Know bill would end this discrimination.

But our new Speaker of the House, along with Representatives Skipper, Smyre and Bourdeaux worked to prevent this bill from being debated on the House floor. Vowing to forever prevent any chance of its passage.

Wonder what kind of man would deliberately discriminate against a pregnant woman? At such a critical time in a woman's life (not to mention the life of her unborn child) Terry Coleman believes that it is more important to support a multi-billion dollar abortion industry than it is to show compassion for the woman and her unborn child. What kind of man has no regard for the well being of someone's Mother?

The only answer is - one that should be retired from public service. Let him go work for his special interests, he certainly does not represent the People of Georgia!
